In The Meantime I

Andrew Scott
Memories From The Corner Pub

We tripped the light fantastic

Where we danced the night away

It's a shame it had to end

But with the sun comes the day

What wonderful memories

I have of that fun filled night

Of road trips for booze and gas

And watching bar room fist fights

Of Nurse Crachet dancing free

Showing us her other side

After downing a Dozzie

And flashing us her back-side

And that stark beauty in Red

Oh how that Lady could dance

Were I not so committed

I'd ask for one more chance

Now that I'm back at the 'Stute

I hear Elmers at the helm

There ain't no way that can be

Cause I'm ruler of the realm!

I'm sure I'll look back some day

With fondness of my freedom

But I really must admit

I prefer my 'Stute Kingdom.

ONE FLEW OVER

Someone better come

and take control

of the Stute

Nurse Crachet

just waking up

from the disaster

with Justin Tolerable

We thought she wouldn't

make it

touch and go

there for a while

so we need some help

in the Marathon

nurse Crachet head

is still laying

on the floor.

Lady in Red

My dearest King, how happy I am

To see you once again

Crazy things do happen here

And not by Justin Sayne

Nurse C. is talking gibberish

It really scares me so

Please help me dearest Crayon King

Before she turns into Jane Doe

****dreaming****

The night I spend with the King

I still feel the urge to sing

In his arms I had a time divine

Maybe one day he'll be mine?

Andrew Scott

One Flew

How good of you

to fly by my nest

As for Nurse

Just let her be

The gal needs her rest

---

Lady in Red

Dream not of me

For I am your

Reality

I am right here

In colors true

The Crayon King

Right here for you

Nurse Crachet

Dearest Andrew Sweet,

Just a reminder here

of that commitment

you talk off.

see you tomorrow

same place, same time.

In The Meantime II

I'm Here For A White Russian

Nurse Crachet

I'm here from the Stute for a white Russian

after gallantly surviving a painful concussion

Serve it up in a big glass on the strong side

I promise not to turn from Jeykell to Hyde.

Not sure where I'm destined from here

everything in my head still not very clear,

I may lose my long lost daughter I fear.

The crayon king lusts after her in passion,

I think he expects me to have compassion

Instead I'd rather sleep hugging the big white bus

since he chooses her to be the only one to discuss.

Serve it up bartender one after another

that way this emotional pain I can smother.

Andrew Scott

Fermented spud

A wonderful drink

The more you down

The less you think

the less you think

The more you drown

So drink your spud

At every round

Bartender! Another White Russian here!

Nurse Crachet

Andrew:

Fancy meeting you here handsome stranger

care if I spin some music on the CD changer?

I'll find some moving tunes so we can dance

since you never yet gave me a fighting chance

When you see my moves we won't be here long

see in your artistic arms is where I belong.

You'll be convinced after just one dance

so give me your hand and give way to chance.

Never would I let a handsome gentleman down

especially one who's art grants him a crown.

In your artistic arms you'll feel my passion

You'll even see a marvellous form of fashion.

See I'm not the Nurse you think me to be

I'm a wild woman just waiting to be set free.

Let me challenge your desires with fantasy's

reaching you to highest levels in ecstasy.

The time is now to dance real slow and feel

my emotion, my passion and the fact I'm real

I'd offer the moon and the stars and sun

but they don't even add up to you my hun(k)

In The Meantime III

Lady in Red

Please help me to decide

Nurse Crachet banged her head

Her daughter I am she said!

My life has taken the strangest turn

This is the Mother for whom I yearn?

My true name is Juliet

My favourite colour red

Long I’ve searched for Mother dear

But now my heart is filled with fear

She’ll expect me to turn against

The ‘Stuters I now call friends

Although it means I’ll have the keys

To every locked door, hurray, whoopee!

Secret trips outside these walls

Or a "quiet" midnight ball

Steal crayons from the safe

And during day time we’ll behave

What, oh what, shall I decide?

Shall I accept, or shall I hide?

Please help me, what shall I do?

For I do not have a clue!

Is this a good time to faint?

Lady in Red

aka

Juliet

Justin Spire

Lady in Red,

To that which you dread,

the nurse is nice

I've done her twice

and still she's very kind,

sometimes I think she's blind.

Take the keys my dear

and never again fear

the nurse as evil mother,

the most she'll do is smother.

For love she lacks

and you have facts

to give her instant love,

just be careful not to shove.

She's very possessive

sometimes reaching obsessive.

Take these clues along with you

and you'll receive more than you are due.

Andrew Scott

My Lady in Red

Trust Nurse Cratchet Not!

A leopard for sure

Just look at those spots!

The beauty that's you

Could not come from her

It's justin possible

To be her blood cur

Please don't take her keys

I've got crayons to spare

Do listen to me

I'm the one who cares

If it's dances you want

I rule the East Wing

I'll throw one each night

I'm the King of swing

We'll do road trips with Moose

To the Corner Pub

We'll hit the jukebox

And rub-a-dub-dub

I'll make you my Queen

You don't need the Nurse

Choose the Crayon King

Resist the Cratchet Curse

Lady in Red

Justin Spire, I see your point of view

But still I do not know what to do

Please explain...you’ve done her twice?

Are you sure you do not fantasize?

My King, you ask me to resist the Nurse

My mother, the wicked Crachet curse

To be the Queen of the Crayon King

And rule with you the ‘Stutes East Wing

My dilemma is rather complicate

The result not to negotiate

The question is, in all it’s simplicity

Do I go insane, or go for the keys?

To be your Queen, I have to be insane

There’s no place here for the clinical sane

Choose Crachet and the keys I will receive

Help the Justins in some honest deceit

The question remains, what shall I do

Whatever it is… will I still have you?

Rapunsel

Lady in red

Have I got a plan

Seems Crayola King

Just isn't your man

I've got an idea

Let's make it tonight

I'll let down my hair

And you take your flight

Out of the window

On the second floor

No need for keys

'Cause you won't use the door

Then come back and get me

As fast as you can

We'll search the world over

'Till we both find a man

I think I found mine

In an ad in the paper

If you will only

Help me with this caper

Did you see the ad

Oh, He's perfect for me

His name’s Chip and Dale

And he dances at three

At a club down the street

A bar called O'Hare

Lets make our escape

I just have to be there

Do we have a deal?

What do you say?

Let's make our escape

And Make it today

Andrew Scott

My Lady in Red

Please make up your mind

If its keys you want

You can have all of mine

My Lady in Red

Please decide real soon

My heart is breaking

Pity this King loon

Cratchet’s not your mom

She lies, can't you see

She wants me herself

To be the Queen Bee

I can't give you up

My Lady in Red

Please don't listen to

What Nurse Cratchet said

As for Rapunsel

With all of her hair

Throw her some scissors

And leave her right there

If its Chip & Dale

That you are seeking

I've got two chipmunks

In the kitchen keeping

As to state of mind

That is the question

To be or not to be?

In which direction

No matter your choice

The King remains true

Go nuts or stay sane

I'll always love you

In The Meantime IV

Tonight's The Stormy Night (For Andrew)

Nurse Crachet

Tonight's the stormy night

of intense passionate flair

where all primal inhibitions

are released without care.

I'll slow dance you into intensity

just once to give you taste

never again for us

precious beautiful time shall waste.

Andrew dear no more illusionary

fantasy's of others

as you become lost in my souls

universal ecstasy

not similar in any way

to that of any others.

Andrew Scott

She claims she is mother

Then tries to steal your man

She sings a siren's song

She has an evil plan

Fear not my Lady Red

For I'll not dance with C

It's you I wish to have

Now till eternity

Nurse Cratchet you can dance

With any from the 'Stute

Except the East Wing King

Your offer I refute

I'll remain true to Red

Despite your seduction

No way will you have me

I'm beyond your corruption

So enjoy the winter

While drinking White Russian

The Crayon King's fire

Burns bright in Red's passion
