Of Multi-Colored Things With Wings (according to Forest Green)

by Dr.Moose1

Umber burning chestnut tree

Andrew draws his crayons

Violet pales and turns to rose

According to his plans

Forest green as yet un-seen

Blends into the brush

While Turquoise covers up her toys

And runs off with a blush

Cinnamon who's always fun

Decides to make the scene

She takes it slow with Indigo

If you know what I mean

Black and Blue who've had a few

Fall down to the ground

While smoke of many different hues

Circles all around

Every flying thing it touched

Was painted up brand new

You won't believe it all that much

But it even got "One Flew"

Gray and Pink, no-one thinks, too much about those two

Fed Red a grape, who with mouth agape, choked 'till he was blue

Orange was peeled, his fate was sealed

The whole bunch got quite stewed

All but Forest who knew the scorest

And stayed well out of view

And to this day by flowing streams

He tells this tale in waking dreams

Of multi-colored things with wings

And the one they call "The Crayon King"

Nurse Crachet

Well, Dr. Moose it's good to see your still around.

You missed a lot you know, butthings will be back

to normal before you even know.

Interesting poem you paint here.

Lady in Red

What a colourful, creative, royal poem Doc.

Justin Consistant

What a poem Doc.

never realized

you to have

so many colors

in your bag.

Too bad the Nurse

can't see your colors

but I saw her

on the news in the Pub

spouting something

about a Rocky Ledge.

I'm not sure about her lately,

are you all safe in here?

ONE FLEW OVER

Dr. Moose I'm here in splendid colors

like these orange pants with purple flowers,

how about this fuchsia shirt with black stripes?

The black seemed to match with the stove pipes

I'm wearing casually with this green hat on my head.

I have my turquoise socks laid carefully out on the bed,

but the best of all is the red with white polka dotted underwear

which underneath I conspicuously have hidden a pink bow knotted.

Justin Nuendo

Shhhhhhh.....Don't ya dare tell 'em, but I kinda love this one.....

gonna tell me abedtime story tonite?

Andrew Scott

Doctor Moose, I was speechless

By the colors you did draw

I laid down all my crayons

And stood there in utter awe

Never have I seen such shades

Within my Crayola Box

Only once I eyed such hues

On a Scotsman's argyle socks

Doctor Moose you have my thanks

For this rainbow of wonder

The pot of gold at it's end

Are the responses under
